I want to share a small tribute for a man who continues to inspire me. Although this was written from a perspective of fundraising & philanthropy, areas where Tom Ilube CBE excels, his imprint on our society extends far beyond.
In a #BlackHistoryMonth where we are celebrating our sisters, I think it’s also appropriate to honour a man who has consistently opened doors for women, not least with his African Gifted Foundation and the African Science Academy.
This month’s Civil Society magazine focuses on Black Fundraising for #BHM2023. There are interviews with notable experts by AmickyCarol Akiwumi MBE and editor Steve Cotterill.
